Welcome to the ‘Psychedelic and Contemporary Music’ part of our shop. These departments are grouped together because they probably represent the three most “Out There” departments in the CDS shop. Our in-house personnel have a respectable knowledge of all three areas of this music and you can rely on that experience to guide you through what is a massive and varied range of titles. As well as listing thousands of available titles, some with ‘offer’ and ‘sale’ prices, these departments, like all the others, have several ‘Featured’ sections. These extend the range of choice by highlighting a selection of new releases and current titles from bands, artists and labels that we are recommending. Our reviews are known for giving factual information and honest, direct opinions of the music. We mix accuracy with enthusiasm, and where possible, add a certain level of entertainment value to the experience, describing the music as we hear it, and making it an enjoyable read at the same time. A useful tool you can have at your disposal in this section of the shop is our 'Approval Service'. Having the back-up such a service can be vital when delving into unknown territory, and you may well find there’s a lot of that here!
